What is a Health Coach?



Generally, Health coaching, also referred to as wellness coaching, is a process that facilitates healthy, sustainable behavior change by challenging a client to develop their inner wisdom, identify their values, and transform their goals into action. Health coaching draws on the principles from positive psychology and appreciative inquiry, and the practices of motivational interviewing and goal setting.


What sets me apart from other Health Coaches?

We will work together to transform your goals into action by looking at all areas of your life: nutrition, movement, joy, relationships, education, finances, social/friendships, and life's work.

I will give you resources to educate you on nutrition. Through the 30 day whole foods cleanse, you will learn how inflammation creates disease in the body and how you can eliminate or reduce inflammation, so you can feel your best. We will work together to improve your digestion and reduce stress, or rather, your response to stressful situations.

We will also address any anxiety, repetitive thoughts, and depression. 

I use a mind, body, spirit approach and focus heavily on the words and thoughts we tell ourselves because words create thoughts; thoughts create feelings; and feelings create action. Energy follows each of those steps and grows stronger with each one to make a powerful impact in your life. 

We will work with subconscious thoughts and how to tap into and change them. I also will use the gift of feeling and sensing to tap into your energy field and work with you and the energy of Oneness to promote balance and relaxation on a deep level allowing you to heal lifetimes and/or generations of dis-ease. 

What does this mean for you?


Be prepared to get to know yourself in a way you might otherwise not, and be prepared to do the work your spirit is asking of you to move forward in health. I cannot do the work for you, but can give you all the tools and support you need to make positive lifelong changes. This is a journey of self love, so be prepared for some possible resistance from within. Be honest about your experiences and be prepared to share, so we can overcome the resistance. You can expect to have as much or as little support as you ask for, and the more work you put into yourself during our time together the more satisfied you will be after the 6 month program is complete.
