I'm grateful for places like Irvine Nature Center. My brother and I volunteered there what feels like a lifetime ago (I think I was around 13) and it was just a small place, but even back then they educated people of all ages on all things nature and natural living. Today it's huge and has programs and wonderful free resources for homeschoolers.
